Consumer Product Laboratories (CPLabs) was formed in 2009 in response to hundreds of calls from customers that needed to comply with new Consumer Product Safety Commission regulations for lead (Pb) and other hazardous chemicals (ex. cadmium-Cd) in various products, especially those products that might be handled by children. Thus, CPLabs was born. We quickly applied for, and received full CPSC accreditation as a third party testing laboratory. Our ISO 17025 status with several other regulatory bodies, our history of analytical excellence, and our ability to provide analytical services for this new realm of clients has generated continued success.

CAPABILITIES

Our state-of-the-art facilities offer over 12,000 square feet of administrative and laboratory space dedicated to customer service and analytical quality. We routinely analyze 1,000-2,000 lead samples each week with the ability to quickly triple that capacity. We have significant experience in analytical due diligence and carry professional liability insurance in excess of $2M (plus $1M umbrella coverage) to protect our clients’ interests. Our professionals have been recognized for their competencies as expert-witnesses. Our efficient analytical processes allow for industry-best pricing.
